Noodles

  • Aata Noodles
  • Nutritive value of the vegetables will be discussed. How noodles can be made a healthy diet (by using aata noodles and not maida noodles) will be explained to the students.
    Idli

  • Rice fermented mixture


  • Instant Idli
  • Mixture - Sooji + Curd + ENO
  • The concept of fermentation will be explained.

    Time taken for fermentation is very long, so they will be taught 'instant idli' (with sooji, curd + ENO).
    Aam Pana (Summer Drinks)

    Seasonal vegetables & fruits

  • Raw Mangoes

  • Mint Leaves
  • This refreshing drink protects us from sun stroke.

    Its other benefits will all be discussed and told to the students.

    How a drink is served, glass placement on the table, etc. will be discussed in detail.
    Bread Rolls (with sauce)

  • Stuffing's
  • For stuffing's all the left over vegetables / rice of the previous meal can be used.

    The students will be told the importance of food and how they can and should use the left overs' properly.

    Serving of the Bread pakoras with chutney or different 'dips' will be explained / taught.
    Chole Bhature

  • Curd
  • The concept of fermentation again would be applied here. Again because time taken for fermentation will be long, hence the concept of 'Instant Bhature' will be explained. (Maida + Curd).

    Decoration of a cake with different icing will be taught.
    Laying the Table

    Clearing the table, etc.

    will be taught.
    Visit to Delhi Haat
    Students will be taken to Delhi Haat to taste the food from the various food courts of different states.
