1. MATH-O-MANIA
It is rightly said that we need to exercise the brain as well as the body. Thus, to engage themselves in some challenging brain teasers, students of Classes IV and V participated in fun mathematics activities, as part of their hobby club 'Math-o-Mania'.
Students of Class IV played the game of 'Math Bingo' and used basic mathematical operations to win the game. Students of Class V played Sudoku and were taught how the 9×9 square must be filled in with numbers from 1-9 with no repeated numbers in each line, horizontally or vertically. The activities helped the students learn to apply logic and solve various puzzles.

2. SCIENCE IS COOL
Learning science develops knowledge, problem solving skills, boosts critical thinking and cultivates a passion for learning.
As part of the Hobby Club 'Science is Cool', students of Class lll used clay as a resource to strengthen their sensory skills as they moulded it meticulously to look like different organs of the body. They placed the clay on a cut-out of a human figure and were able to grasp a general overview of the human anatomy. The activity not only helped them improve their muscle coordination, but also helped them learn about the structure and functions of different body parts.

3. CULTURAL CONNECT
To celebrate the diversity of cultures in our country, students of Class ll engaged in the activity 'Vibrant Punjab', as part of their Cultural Connect Hobby Club. Students showcased and spoke about the traditional outfits, delicacies, places of worship, handicrafts and the distinctiveness of the culture of Punjab. They thoroughly enjoyed the activity and learnt a lot about the land of five rivers.

4. SUPER CHEFS
Cooking is not just a culinary skill, it is a way to harness imagination and creativity. It also helps learners to appreciate the effort that goes into preparing meals and teaches them to respect food. Keeping this in mind, the students of Class lll donned their chef caps to exhibit their culinary skills. As part of the Super Chefs Hobby Club meet, they prepared the dish 'Crispy Cracker Pizza' using ingredients like capsicum, tomatoes, biscuits, cheese slices and onions. They excitedly put the ingredients together to create the delicious snack and relished it with utmost zeal.

5. THE THEATRICALS
To unearth these natural gifts and discover their innate potential, students of Class V participated in the hobby club 'The Theatricals' and presented 'The Pantomime Show', portraying characters and situations solely through their body movements. They enthusiastically learnt about the intricacies of performing pantomime on stage and the art of using objects as props. They enacted small scenes in groups such as a circus act, office scene, a child waking up in the morning and getting ready for school, a scene between a doctor and a patient, and so on. To make the activity more authentic, they used pantomime face masks and gloves, and improved their improvisation skills.

Students are put in different clubs of their choice viz Heritage, Eco, Finger-Prints, Pitch-Perfect, Neon-Beats, Maths - Science, Social-Initiative, Debating, and Web Designing - Animation for an out of the box learning as a nice cool break from routine class. |
