It is rightly said that we need to exercise the brain as well as the body. Thus, to engage themselves in some challenging brain teasers, students of Classes IV and V participated in fun mathematics activities, as part of their hobby club 'Math-o-Mania'.
Students of Class IV played the game of 'Math Bingo' and used basic mathematical operations to win the game. Students of Class V played Sudoku and were taught how the 9×9 square must be filled in with numbers from 1-9 with no repeated numbers in each line, horizontally or vertically. The activities helped the students learn to apply logic and solve various puzzles. |

| The only way to learn mathematics is to do mathematics. The Maths O Mania club is an effective instrument to eliminate math phobia and promote a positive attitude toward the subject. Likewise, it gives them the opportunity to develop fundamental knowledge and abilities like visualization, comprehension, curiosity, and higher order thinking. |
