| St. Mark’s, Janakpuri celebrated “One Nation Reading Together, 2015” in collaboration with Scholastic India on November 27, 2015 from 12:00 to 12:30 noon. Entire school community enjoyed the participation in the event including students, teachers, support staff as well as admin department. The students Dropped Everything And Read on the scheduled date and time. Beautiful thoughts and expressions about books and reading were written on the ‘Graffiti Walls’ by different range of readers. The students also participated whole heartedly in ONRT activity ‘Book Donation Drive’. Donated books will be distributed to several NGOs. Overall it was an enriching and enjoyable experience for everyone. |

‘One Nation Reading Together’ activity was celebrated in the school on 29 November 2013. The entire school read together and each class even wrote a slogan on books, which was posted on the graffiti wall.
The entire event turned out to be a great literary affair, with students getting a new perspective on books. |
  As part of an initiative by Scholastic India Pvt. Ltd., the activity ‘One Nation Reading Together’ was carried out in our school 30 November 2012. The students along with their teachers as well as the administrative staff were all seen reading at the same time.
The endeavour was to encourage and inculcate the habit of reading in everyone.
A graffiti pin up board was put up and a number of students and teachers penned down their thoughts and quotations about the importance of books and reading in our lives. |

 Under the aegis of scholastic India pvt. Ltd. (a leading publication house),”one Nation Reading Together”, an activity to encourage and popularize reading among students was held on 25th November for the entire school.
Moreover to add to the whole feel of reading a ‘Book Mark’ making activity was also conducted in which the students creative juices flowed as they made many attractive book marks. |

On 26th November 2010 the whole school participated in the activity “One Nation Reads Together” under the ages of Scholastic India Pvt. Ltd on the occasion of its 90th Anniversary.
For an hour the entire school devoted some time for reading, thus emphasizing upon the necessity of reading in today’s world where gadgets have overtaken our simple pleasure of reading. |
