Sofia’s artwork, which creatively showcases the participating states of the G20 summit, is truly impressive. Through her talent, she has captured the essence of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” - the notion that we are all interconnected as one global family with a shared destiny. Her art is not only visually engaging but it also conveys a profound message of unity and collaboration among nations during important events like the G20 summit.

I WISH I WERE A BIRD

Birds are so lucky that they can fly
Up in the sky so high

They can see everything
From trees to ducklings

They can feel the fresh air there
But they don’t come down because of pollution here

They don’t have to study, they don’t take stress,
But we have thousand reasons to depress

They have to search for food
But we have so many restaurants to cherish our mood

I have never heard
A singer like a bird

Birds tell me your secrets of happiness,
We long for such gladness

I wish I were a bird like you
I could fly and sing like you.

EMOTIONS

Once, there was happiness
And now there’s only pain
A shame spreading through
The shame of my mistakes

Once, I was with my friends
Happiness on every end
I want to be with them
My family is chasing

Their time for me, facing
So much
So much hard work
I don’t want to hurt them

Yet I want to be with my friends
I can’t lose my self
Yet I can’t lose them
I can’t lose myself

Yet I can’t lose my friends
I don’t know
On one road, there is joy but pain
On the other, there is pain and limited joy

I don’t know
Where will I go?
So hard to decide
Tears coming out my eyes

It’s so difficult
And it really hurts
My friends are like the last thing
That I am living on

The same is for my parents
Just staring at the world till it’s gone.

MY FAMILY

The most valuable thing for me is my family
Who made my life amazing and lovely

Lovable is my grandfather,
Emotional and worried for my future rather

My grandmother want us to be good,
By my side, she always stood.

My father always wants me to become popular
But I want to become like him, similar

My Mother is so significant and hold a great potential,
She is always altruistic and admiral

And my sister is like my second mom and best friend
Oh her, I was and will always depend

This is my family, a box of love and care,
You’ll find a family like mine very rare

NATURE’S BOUNTY

Upon a mid-spring day,
Let’s take a glimpse at Nature’s way,

Breathe the scent of fresh air,
Feel the breeze within your hair.

Our physical world, respect and explore:
Where water meets land; a beautiful shore.

The grass will poke between your toes,
Smell the flowers with your nose.

Under the layer of the maturing sun,
Monkeys through their vines run.

Mountains we conquer, look down in awe;
If you are an artist, you should make sure you draw.

Look across the meadow way,
And you shall see a young deer play.

Know the sounds of water splash,
Catch its glimmer in a flash.

When altogether it seems sounds,
Lay yourself upon the ground.

Memories are nurtured, when nature reveals;
Sharing its pleasure, amazing it feels.

OUR EARTH GOES GREEN

My mom gave me birth
God gave me chance to visit Earth,

I live with my family in town,
In a beautiful house, on the ground.

I see Earth going grey and brown,
So I took up the job, with an old crown.

Earth will go green again,
If I will make it clean again.

I will recycle those cans and plastics
Batteries and newspapers.

Will remember to turn off the light,
And grow more and more trees

For new generations I mean
Go – Green , Go – Green !

Ishabpreet (IV-E)
OUR EARTH GOES GREEN

Grow some trees,
Let the fresh air be free

Do not smoke,
Otherwise you will choke

Do not cut trees,
Make our earth green please

Do not waste electricity
Or we will soon live in a dark city

Do not spread pollution
Let us find a solution

Do not use plastic bags,
Make bags out of rags

Grow some trees,
Let the fresh air be free

Manisha Varma (IV-A)
OUR EARTH GOES GREEN

Our earth goes green
We should keep it clean

It is a tilted ball
Which doesn’t bounce at all !

Polluting air
Is just not fair.

One day earth will be no more
As we are causing problems more and more

We should use the four R’s
We should enjoy every hour

I want the earth to go green
We should work together to make it clean.

JOURNEY OF LIFE

Life is a journey
Not a smooth one
Not an easy one
But which has something for everyone

In the beginning of this journey,
Everything seems nice.
But as the journey progresses,

You realize it’s really not that nice.
Different people with different aims,
Have their own different destinations.
But you must work hard,
Or you could end up on a lonesome station.

There shall be ups and downs,
There shall be good and bad days.
Always keep up a happy face,
And remember this is just a phase.

This journey will take you places,
That you have never seen.
Just have faith in yourself,
And live your dreams.

‘Tis dreams that take us all along
Make us reach great heights
To begin a new life, a new journey
And yet another beginning . . .
