Inter class Folk Dance Competition by students of Class V of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, was held on 15 May 2013. Chhao dance on invocation to Goddess Durga was a prelude to the colour and dance extravaganza. The budding dancers kept the audience spellbound with their moves and expression as they brought alive the rich rustic culture of Indian states. The winner was the Bamboo Dance performed by Class V-H and the Runners Up was Dandiya of Class V-D. The other dances were also highly appreciated like the Garhwali, Kaalbelia, Assamese, Bihu and Bhangra.
Cambridge ESOL Exams - (2013)
English is the campus language of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, and to provide accurate and consistent assessment of language skills, we introduced Cambridge ESOL Exams in the last academic year to classes I to V. These exams are conducted by the University of Cambridge, U.K.

The students were assessed on the basis of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. We had a cent percent result and nine of them got full marks in all the above mentioned categories.

It was an excellent exposure for the children wherein they enhanced their language skills along-with adding new dimensions to their knowledge.
