In the 37th National Taekwon-do ITF Championship, 2022, Tvisha Rajora of 6-G won the Bronze medal in 40 - 45 kg. weight category (under 15 years). The championship was a part of FIT India and Khelo India. Over 1000 participants from 25 states of India took part in the event which was organized by “Taekwon Do Federation of Delhi”. Tvisha demonstrated extraordinary grit and determination to win the Third Place in the championship. |

Our Under 12 Team defeated Bal Bharti Public School, Pitam Pura by 5 goals and got into the semi-finals of the prestigious S.K Sharma Football Tournament organized by Mamta Modern School, Vikas Puri. Poorvansh Tyagi Sharma 5-H and Hridyansh Tyagi Mehta 4-F scored two goals each while Shivansh Kochar 5-H scored a goal to help the team defeat the opposition. |

Aashman Gupta of Class X-C won the first position in Under 15 category in Olympiad Torch Run Rapid Chess Tournament held at Indira Gandhi Stadium on 19th June 2022. He won the cash prize of Rs 6000/-. He also backed the 3rd position in Delhi State Under 17 Chess Championship held on 28th and 29th June 2022 and 3rd position in Delhi State Under 19 Chess Championship held on 30th June and 1st July, 2022 |

Tvisha Rajora, 6-G won a Gold Medal at State Level in 35-40 kg category in the 32nd Delhi State Taekwondo ITF Championship.
Our star athlete, Tvisha Rajora, 6-G, won a Gold medal at the state level in 35-40 kg category for 8-10 Years in the 32nd Delhi State Taekwondo-do ITF Championship held under the Khelo India Program to develop and encourage sports at the grass roots level. The championship saw more than 300 children competing in various categories. |

Vansh Kapoor (IV-C) participated in the 1st National Yoga Championship 2019-2020 organized by Arya Yoga Association on 7 and 8 February, 2020. He won a silver medal in 9-11 year age group. He also won a bronze medal in the Artistic event of the same. |

Sikkim Namchi organised an All India Trekking Camp to Sikkim for JW and SW cadets from 13 to 19 November, 2019. Kshrishti (IX H) and Alfiya (IX I) from our school attended the camp with zeal and enthusiasm. |

After the practice session he met the school Cricket team and other students. Everyone was excited to see Shikhar Dhawan, the explosive Indian opener. He also met Chairman Mr. T. P. C.B.S.E National Athletic Meet was organized at Parvathamma Shamanur Shivashankarappa English Medium Residential School, Davangere, Karnataka from 12 to 16 November, 2018. Kartik Kapoor of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh qualified from Delhi Cluster in 1500m event. Kartik Kapoor (XII-A), participated in 1500m event in heats and qualified for the finals. In finals, Kartik Kapoor showed a good performance and secured fourth position with a timing of 4 : 23 : 84 among 40 athletes from all over the country. |

Young boys football team of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh participated in the in J. S. Gupta Memorial All India Inter Soccer Tournament held at C L Gupta World School, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.

The matches were played between 27 to 29 August, 2018. The players looked in high spirits and played 4 matches during the tournament. Our team played well and won two matches, one against the host team and the other against Ryan International School, Noida. |
St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh feels proud to introduce the Chess Champion, Aashman Gupta, a student of Class VI. He started playing chess at an early age and has received accolades for his remarkable performances.
Recently, he participated in two major tournaments held at Jaipur and Bhopal. At MNM Jaipur Open, he won the second prize under 1400 to 1600 rating category and the Queens Trophy. This is his greatest victory till date.
At ‘National Youth Under 25 Chess Tournament 2018’ held at Bhopal, he achieved 26th rank. Overall in the month of August, he raised his FIDE rating by 115 points. Well done Aashman!! You have worked incredibly hard. Wishing you all the very best for your bright future ahead!! |

Fit mind can only reside in a fit body. Keeping this maxim in mind students of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh enthusiastically participated in physical fitness initiatives. Four students of our school participated in 3rd India Open International Championship held from 26 to 28 April, 2018 at Thyagraj Indoor Stadium, New Delhi and brought laurels to the school. Ms. S. Gupta, Ms. T. Mahajan (Special Educators) and Ms. K. Madan (Guidance Counsellor) of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh alongwith 13 students of Classes IV to VII attended a ‘National Talent Olympiad’ on 15 February, 2018. The event was organised by Expressions India (a CBSE Empanelled Agency) Students participated in various events like Sports, Games, Performing Arts, Fine Arts and Literary Activities.

Devishi Sharma won a Gold medal in Squay Martial Arts after defeating Maharashtra and Goa in U – 19 category. She has won this medal for the third consecutive year.

Boys played three matches and they won onematch; so that the boys team were out of the league round. Our girls cleared the league round and entered the qualifying round.

3rd Pusa Roller Skating Championship was held on 10 December, 2017 at Pusa Skating Ring Faculty Club IARI Delhi. 18 students of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh participated in this championship in different age groups. 11 students of our school won 4 Silver and 7 Bronze medals in different age groups.

Ishaan Sachdeva (XI-B) and Prashant Khurana (XI-D) represented Delhi state in under -19 age group and became champions by defeating Chattisgarh in the finals by 5 goals to nil. Prashant Khurana scored a hat-trick for the team.
Aryan Bhandari (XI-A), Joshua A Joseph (XI-F), Pritish Rawat (XI-B), Prithu Sharma (XI-C) represented Delhi state in under - 17 age group and became champions by defeating Maharashtra in the finals by 2 goals to nil.

Public School, Meera Bagh were a part of the Delhi State team which emerged as Champion of 6th Sub Junior Nine A Side National Football Tournament 2017 held at Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu from 4 to 6 August, 2017. In the final match of the tournament Delhi defeated Pondicherry by 3 – 1.

Public School, Meera Bagh has secured III Position in Avtar Kaur Memorial Table Tennis Tournament – 2017, organised by District Table Tennis Association (East). Junior Sports India organised a competition Junior Sports Olympics in Chhatrasal Stadium from 5 to 8 February 2017. Around 23 different schools participated in this competition. Students of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh also participated in this competition and bagged 24 gold medals, 16 silver medals and 24 bronze medals in this tournament.

Public School, Meera Bagh was selected to represent Delhi U–14 Cricket Team in the 62nd National School Games held at Maharashtra from 29 January, 2017 to 5 February, 2017. Delhi team played matches against Chandigarh, Madhya Pradesh, C.B.S.E. Haryana team. Delhi team won all the matches and reached to the final. The final match was held between U.P. and Delhi team. Delhi team defeated U.P. team and got the first position. The winning team was awarded with gold medals and certificates. |

15th Parsvnath Delhi International Open Chess Tournament was held from 9 January, 2017 to 16 January, 2017. Grand Masters from all over the world participated in the event. In this open Chess Tournament three students from St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh namely Aashman Gupta (IV A), Aashita Sethi (VII A) and Sanchit Chauhan (VII F) participated. Aashita Sethi and Sanchit Chauhan scored 2.5/10 in the tournament and Aashman Gupta brought laurels to the school by scoring 6 points out of 10. He secured third best position in the Under – 9 category and was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 7000/-. |

This race was flaged by Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi from Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium to Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium. 17,000 students of different institutions participated in this event.

Junior Olympics 2016 was organized by Junior Sports India at Thyagaraj Stadium on 17 and 18 February, 2016. Around 30 schools participated in the competition and 19 students of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh qualified for the final round. Bhawna Lohani (I C) won the Bronze medal in Class I hurdle race. The children participated in all events very enthusiastically and it was great as the children ran on a synthetic track.

Among 64 schools in Basketball CBSE (Girls) Tournament held at St. Giri School, Sector 3, Rohini, students of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, stood amongst the top eight schools.
In the first round, St. Mark’s defeated Mount Abu School, Rohini by 15-4, in the second round St. Mark’s defeated Ryan International School, Vasant Kunj, by 19-00, and in the third round St. Mark’s defeated Ahlcon Public School, Mayur Vihar, by 21-13 points.

Mehul Mittal of class XII-C won Gold Medal in 100m and Bronze Medal in 200m. Mandeep Sehrawat of class XII-E won the silver medal in 5000m race. In 4 × 100m relay race, our school team won the silver medal.

Mayank Rajpal (12-C), Abhinav Nagpal (XI-C) and Deepak Sharma (X-A) represented Indian team for Indo-Nepal 15-15 Cricket Series which was held in Nepal from 25 to 29 September 2013. Mayank Rajpal was a member of the senior team and Abhinav Nagpal and Deepak Sharma were members of the junior team. The senior team played a three match series, against Nepal Cricket team. The senior Indian team won the series by 2-1 whereas the junior team lost to Nepal 3-0. Mayank Rajpal of St. Mark’s School, Meera Bagh, who was a member of the senior team was adjudged as the best wicket keeper of the series for his outstanding performance in the series. |
Yash Gahlot of Class VII-B of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, won the Bronze medal in Delhi State Boxing Championship organized by District Association, Munirka Boxing Academy held from 27th to 30thJune 2013 for weight category – under 46 kg. |
15-15 National Cricket Championship for U-17 category was held at Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh from 9th to 14th June 2013. Mayank Rajpal (XII-C), Deepak Sharma (X-A), Abhinav Nagpal (XI-C), Kshitiz Attrishi (X-D), Parth Arora (IX-C) and Jai Prakash (IX-C) of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, participated and represented the Delhi team in the championship.
Delhi reached the finals of the Championship beating the other teams comprehensively. In the finals, Delhi defeated M.P. by 3 runs to clinch the championship. Mayank Rajpal (XII-C) of St. Mark’s School, Meera Bagh, was declared as the Best Batsman of the tournament. It was a great experience for the team. |
