Atoot Bandhan the Old Student’s Association organized ‘Holi Mian’ on 26th February ‘2023 in the school premises.
The programme started with the blessings of our Chairman Sir, Mr. T.P. Aggarwal as he welcomed the alumni with a lot of warmth and love. Both Sir and Principal Madam were felicitated by the Treasurer Mr. Bhavesh Garg and Secretary Mr. Siddharth Khatri.
Our Principal ma’am, who is also the President of Atoot Bandhan, joined Chairman Sir in conveying her warm wishes to the ex-students.
The programme was a huge success with more than 500 members of the alumni attending it. The executive members Mehak Awtaramani, Dev Soni and Siddharth Pruthi addressed the gathering.
Holi was played with organic colours and flower petals, followed by games, dance and eats. The students danced their heart out and expressed their undying love for SMS.

Atoot Bandhan, the old students association of St. Mark's Meera Bagh organized another Mentor Mentee workshop for students of Class XI.
Our star alumni, Dr. Sushant Mittal, a leading oncologist and Dr. Vijit Bhola, a leading dentist, were the guest speakers.
Both the doctors interacted with the audience by sharing the ups and downs of their journey and guiding the students to excel by working hard and putting their heart and soul in their work. They also emphasized on healthy eating habits and an active lifestyle. Afterall health is wealth. |

For the fourth consecutive year, the Old students’ Association of St. Mark’s School, Meera Bagh,’ATOOT BANDHAN’ organized ADVITYA, on 1 February, 2020. It was attended by the Principal, Ms. A. Agarwal, Vice Principal, Ms. R. Anand, teachers and Ex St. Markians. Many ex-students got the chance to showcase their respective talents.
The event commenced with a few words of welcome and encouragement by Ms. A. Aggarwal. There were dance performances by Pritish Rawat, Kartika Kumar, Rachita Arora, Manav Prabhakar, Ghanisht and Baljot Singh Dhingra and Harmanjeet Singh Dhingra which were thoroughly enjoyed by one and all. They all received a great applause. Akshi Sharma and Riya Sharma captivated the crowd with their melodious songs. They were accompanied by Arsh Tayal on the guitar, Mohit Arora on the keyboard and Shiva Narang as the percussionist. Dhruv Goel sang a few old Bollywood numbers. Gantavya Punj enthralled the audience with his ‘SHAYARI'. Rapper Alind Singh, another ex-student mesmerized everyone with his self- composed music. The cherry on the cake was the “FASHION SHOW”, the last, but the most dazzling and enchanting. It was the sole effort of Jigyasa Jolly, who owns a Fashion Brand by the name MODO CALDO. All the outfits worn by the models were designed by Jigyasa herself. The audience was completely enraptured and fascinated the beautiful models who walked the ramp with exceptional poise and confidence. Their makeup was done by Vanya Bhatnagar. The models for the day were Urvi Goel, Shambhavi Prabhaker, Yasha Jain, Karuna Longiany, Kanya Longiany, Aashna Chawla and Khushboo Bhola. The event hosted by Dev Soni was a roaring success with a full house.

On 31st August, 2019, Our senior school football team played a friendly match against old boys of our school. Both the teams were goalless at the end of the stipulated time. In the Tie breaker, Penalty shoot out, we defeated them by 7 goals to 6. A fabulous game for Aryan Dogra (XII-D) who saved the last spot kick to see our team through as the winning team.
Dhruv Chawla (XII-D), Prithvi Yadav (XI-C), Sarthak Sachdeva (XII-A), Vedant Dutt (IX-H), Harshit Sharma (X-F), Manan Arora (XI-C) and Ankit Kotnala (XI-H) all scored a goal each. For our ex students, Udit Mitra, Rachit Arora, Lobsang Khatiar, Stephen, Shaurya Sharma and Daksh Malhotra scored a goal each. |

Atoot Bandhan, the Old Students' Association of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh organised a Mentor Mentee Workshop for Class XI. Dr. Manik Mittal, a leading eye surgeon, Dhruv Gupta, a genius in gaming, Jigyasa Jolly, a fashion designer, Siddharth Arora, a professional photographer and Victor Vaibhav Tandon, a professor in law college, gave their valuable inputs and guidance about various career options. They encouraged students to think beyond the conventional choices and pursue their passion with hard work and dedication. |

‘Atoot Bandhan’, the Old Students’ Association of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh organised ‘Advitya – 2018’ a talent – cum – entertainment show on 3 February, 2018. Presided over by Chairman Mr. T. P. Aggarwal, Principal Ms. A. Aggarwal and Vice Principal Ms. R. Anand, the programme gave a platform to the ex-students to showcase their talents. There were dance performances by Rachita Arora, Veronica Kauralia, Kartika Kumar, Neelakshi and Shambhavi Prabhakar, Somya Vehrwani and Shreshtha and Simrat Singh, which entertained the audience and kept them glued to their seats. Sanjana’s slam poetry recitation (self composed) mesmerized one and all. ‘Shayari’ by Gantavya Punj won a lot of applause.
Garv Malik, with his stand up comedy won all hearts hands down. Akshit Gogia, Dhruv Goel and Akshi and Ria Sharma alongwith Saksham, Shubham Sadana, Mohit Arora and Arsh Tayal as accompanists, sang melodious numbers. Shivraj made everyone laugh with his antics.
The icing on the cake was the ‘Fashion Show’. The models Raina Kapoor, Kavya Anand, Veronica Kauralia, Sanya Shingari, Yasha Jain, Dikshita and the show stopper Saloni Sehra, exhibited the beautiful dresses designed by Jigyasa Jolly under her brand name Modo Caldo.
The comperes Dev Soni and Hardik Tara kept the audience in fits of laughter with their remarks. The show was managed by Raina Kapoor. An evening well spent and worth remembering. |

The Old Students’ Association – ‘Atoot Bandhan’ of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh organised a ‘Talent – Cum – Fashion Show’ on 10 February, 2017. Mehak Malhotra and Akshit Gogia mesmerized the audience with their melodious songs. Sanjana Choudhary and Shivangi Arora touched everyone’s heart with their poetry rendition. Gantavya V. Punj stole everyone’s heart by his ‘Shayari’.
There were enthralling western dance performances by Suasha Girdhar, Sanyam Jain and Namrata Sharma and a ‘Bhangra’ performance by Robin Singh. Shivraj and Garv Malik made everyone laugh and left the audience amused by their stand – up – comedy acts, full of wit and humour.
A mono – acting by Abhishek Lakra was applauded by one and all. Last but not the least the ‘Fashion Show’ left everyone awe struck. Costumes were designed by Jigyasa Jolly under her brand name – ModoCaldo. The complete programme was covered by Amardeep Singh’s professional photography. Dev Soni and Hardik Tara kept the audience in fits of laughter with their stupendous anchoring. IT WAS INDEED A ROCKING SUCCESS !!! |

‘Atoot Bandhan’, the Old Students Association of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, organized a friendly cricket match on 17 January, 2016 between the ex- St. Markians and the staff members. It was a close finish with the ex-students defeating the staff members by attaining the target of 119 runs in the very last over.
The match brought back fond memories of the school life, making the pleasantly warm Sunday a “well spent Super Sunday”. This event also strengthened the unbreakable bond between the ex-students and their school. |

| 23 August 2015 turned out to be an enthralling and amazing event organised by the alumni of our school for everyone present. A Talent Show, by the Ex-St. Markians for the Ex-St. Markians. Attended by the Principal, Ms. A. Aggarwal, other faculty members and nearly five hundred ex-students, it was a rocking affair. While Mehak Malhotra mesmerised the crowd with her enchanting melodies, Shivraj made everyone laugh with his mimicry. Akshit Gogia, Archit Manchanda, Karan Kohli, Deepika Matange, Shibangi Nag and Nikita Sareen won everyone's heart with their lyrical numbers. K.P. Sivaramakrishnan dazzled all with his recital of some Bollywood numbers on the synthesizer with Saksham accompanying him as a percussionist. To add colour to the event were dance numbers by Veronica, Manmeet, Sanya Chugh and Urvashi. The icing on the cake was the 'Stand Up Comedy’ by Garv Malik. The credits of the roaring success of this event go to Richa Chugh, who did the promotions along with Ms. R. Anand, Ms. R. Verma and Ms. K. Mehta and the other executive members of 'Atoot Bandhan', the OSA. The event culminated with everyone singing the school song 'Hail St. Mark's!'. A wonderful gift by the alumni to the school while it celebrates its Silver Jubilee Year. |

  It was indeed a walk down the memory lane on 16 March 2013 – when a Get Together of “Atoot Bandhan”, Old Students’ Association of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, was organized in the school premises. It was indeed an emotional moment for everyone when the Principal Ms. A. Aggarwal cut the cake brought by Sudershanjit, one of the ex students.
The entire gathering sang the school song. Good food and music were the icing on the cake.

The Old Student’s Association of St. Marks Sr. Sec. Public School, ATOOT BANDHAN, organized its winter bash on 6th February 2011 at Tabula Rasa, Saket. It was a wonderful evening when students from different batches met their teachers and friends and got nostalgic about their school days. Apart from reviving the old memories, new ventures and aspirations were shared.
The ambience of the place and the foot tapping numbers got everyone to the dance floor. The Principal Ms. A. Aggarwal gave her best wishes to all the ex-students and members of the governing body left no stone unturned to make this event a success. |

The Old Students’ Association of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, ‘Atoot Bandhan’, organized a dance party for the members of the Alumni. This event was held on 19 July 2009, at Jazz Café, Café Morrison, South Extn., New Delhi. The members of the Alumni, including the school Principal Ms. A. Aggarwal, some of the senior teachers and about 103 ex-students enjoyed a fun-filled evening of music, dance and dinner.
The event was a great success with a good turnover. The Alumni Governing Body is planning to organize more memorable and enjoyable events like this. |
