Our students participated in an Inter School event held at Indraprastha International School, Dwarka. Charvi Arora of Class 2-E had won 3rd Prize in the event ARTiON, in which students were supposed to draw a scene in Tux Paint on the topic given on the spot. Kavish Sachdeva of Class 4-B and Pureza Adhikari of Class 4-D had won 3rd position in the event PRESENTiON, in which they were supposed to make a Power-Point Presentation on the topic given on the spot. |

The Cambridge Foundation School hosted the 22nd Brem Dutt Memorial Inter School Competition on Friday, 3rd May 2024. Our school participated in many events and won several awards for their exceptional performances.

On 24th April 2024, Anya Tandon and Anurag Madan participated in the Literary Saga organized by Apeejay School Pitampura securing 3rd position in #Opinion Matters event, They eloquently discussed modern societal paradigms like 'Are Humans living the Having mode of existence?' and 'Data is the new oil', demonstrating insightful analysis and critical thinking. Their performance exemplified our school's commitment to fostering critical thinking and intellectual discourse, adding depth to the festival's literary conversations. |

Students from Classes Nursery to 12th of our school participated in the Silverzone Olympiad, which is one of the most popular International Olympiads. While many of them have brought laurels and accolades by winning gold, silver, and bronze medals in various subjects, Ayansh Aggarwal of Class 4 (2023-24) stands out as he won a medal at the International level in the Talent Hunt Olympiad and was awarded a cheque of Rs. 7500 by the SilverZone Foundation.

A group of five students, Sukhman Singh, Navya Aggarwal, Akshat Kapoor, Vansh Sood, and Siddhant Bhatia from Class 10-B showcased their innovative prowess in the Young Ideathon Competition organized by Think Startup and CBSE. Among 50,000 ideas nationwide, their team secured a spot in the top 100.
Their ground-breaking concept revolved around the creation of a product named ‘Plastic Magnet’ designed to extract plastic from water bodies. This ingenious solution aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 6 and 14, focusing on Clean Water and Sanitation, as well as Life Below Water. |

Arshiya V-G, showcased her talent by participating in the "Learn O Test" Olympiad organized by Edunext Technologies. Competing in the Mathematics Olympiad, she secured an impressive 37th rank nationwide. She was awarded a Merit certificate and a gift. |

Our students shine at HANMUN, a distinguished MUN event hosted at Hansraj College, University of Delhi.
A delegation comprising of 21 students represented our esteemed institution at the university level, pitting their wits against students from diverse universities and colleges across the Delhi NCR. St. Mark’s, Meera Bagh, proudly stands as the solitary school competing atthe collegiate level in HANMUN. Demonstrating remarkable prowess, our students not only held their own against their more seasoned college counterparts but also secured noteworthy positions within the conference.
The laurels earned by our students are as follows:
1. Vedant Arora (IX-F) received the coveted Best Photographer award in the International Press, garnering a cash prize of INR 1100/-, a trophy, and a certificate.
2. Daaksh Sachdeva (VII-C) earned the High Commendation 1 award in the UNGA, receiving a trophy and certificate.
3. Anya Tandon (XI-A) and Ridhima Arora (XI-A) secured the High Commendation 2 award in AIPPM and UNCSWrespectively and received certificates.

The Students of Class 2 performed incredibly well at the Zenith Interschool Street Play Competition (2023-2024) held at Bal Bharti Public School, Pitampura, Delhi. In a dazzling display of academic prowess, students from Classes 5 to 10 showcased their intellectual acumen at the State-level competition, Erudition Edge 2023 designed to challenge young minds in the fields of Science and Mathematics.
The event organized by the FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh centre in Delhi, saw enthusiastic participation of around 70 students in Round 2, out of which 18 students advanced to levels 3 and 4. Round 2 winners received certificates and bronze medals, for their exceptional performance.

The second edition of Inter-School Commerce and Economics Festival: ‘The Biz Wiz Conclave’ witnessed a zestful participation from 13 schools in Delhi. The fest, aimed at spreading knowledge and igniting the passion for commerce-related fields. The competition included activities like ‘Stock Master’ based on virtual trading simulation; ‘Commerce Chronicles’ based on real-life case studies from the world of commerce; Rendezvous with the Rupee, which explored aspects of rupee at the hands of inflation and geopolitical conditions; Comic Strip based on narratives through the fusion of art and commerce. |

Our young diplomat Kriday Sharma, IX-D represented the Republic of Senegal in the UNCSW Committee at the IIT Indore Model United Nations. He excelled among fellow delegates, earning the distinguished title of “Best Delegate.” Sh. T.S. Tirumurti, a renowned diplomat and former permanent representative of India to the United Nations, presented Kriday with the trophy. Alongside this honor, Kriday received a cash prize of ₹12,000, a Fireboltt smartwatch, a trophy, and a certificate. |

Our students shine at The DOXA Model United Nations (MUN) Conference, an online event organised by St. Mark’s Senior Secondary Public School, Janakpuri.
On 19 and 20 August 2023, 9 students participated in The DOXA Model United Nations (MUN) conference, an online event organised by St. Mark’s Senior Secondary Public School, Janakpuri, showcasing their diplomatic skills and commitment to global issues.
There were four committees.
The students immersed themselves in a variety of committees: UNCSW, UNHRC, AIPPM and G20 where they discussed anddebated on pressing global issues like Islamic fundamentalism, the Iranian hijablaw, global SDGs, and the Indian issue of Manipur violence.
They won the following awards:

Through a mesmerizing Kathak dance recital, Prisha showed the current scenario of water waste and the consequences that have arisen due to destructive human activities. Saksham Aggarwal (7-D) and Samit Bansal (7-F) clinched the first prize in the Junior Design Competition for their creative "Baby Shark" poster on Canva. Karandeep Singh (8-F) and Dhairya Chabbra (7-C) won the second prize for their E-Waste model showcasing energy conservation via a roller pin converting mechanical energy to electricity and a paltrier module converting heat energy for domestic use. |

Ivanika Thukral, of Class 2 won the first positionin 'Tale-O-Twist' activity at an online interschool competition "Lit Fest- Spectrum" organized by Bosco Public School, where she narrated the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with a twist and brought laurels to the school.
At an inter school competition, “Don A-Grab” organized by Laburnum Public School, Gurugram, she delivered a brief monologue highlighting the importance of preserving and protecting life underwater and secured the second prize. |

favour of protecting rights of refugee women and children, vociferously spoke against violence perpetuated by non-state actors and energetically suggested myriad solutions for the environmental crisis.

On 11 August 2023, a team of 17 students from Classes XI and XII participated in the Interschool Commerce Fest: Heritage Commerce League organised by The Heritage School, Rohini, Delhi. The theme of the event was Tatva: The Five Elements of Earth and hence, it focused on building commerce sustainably. Sakshi Shokeen (XII-C) and Aanya Khatri (XII-C) were awarded with a certificate of merit each for their participation in the event Ultranomics. |

Three teams consisting of 9 students made us proud by winning awards in the Third International Creative Creators Playground @SSP (ICCP@SSP) 2023 organised recently by Sekolah Seri Puteri, Malaysia.
From the Senior category: Arpita Jain (12-A), Jasraj Singh (12-C) and Yash Khanwani (12D) bagged the Gold 2nd Award For their movie "Threads of Struggle" on SDG 1-No Poverty. Their movie poster also won them the 2nd position in the best poster category.
In the Junior category Amey Aggarwal (9-A), Mannat Sachdeva (9-D) and Aryan Madan (9-B) bagged the Gold 4th award for their movie "Lifeline" on SDG-1- No Poverty.
Bhavya Gupta (9-A), Nyonita Chawla (9-C) and Pratyush Goel (9-A) won the Bronze Award for their Animated movie on the topic "Clean water and Sanitation" under Creators Lower Secondary Category.
The event brought together young minds from across the globe to celebrate the power of creativity and innovation to make short movies on SDG 1 – No Poverty or SDG 6 – Clean Water & Sanitation. |

During GD Goenka School Vasant Kunj’s Tech Fest on 21 July 2023, Aseem Talwar (XII-A) participated and secured the Third Position in the Tech Talk event, themed ‘Travel in Time.’ Taking a stand against the motion, "Industrial Revolution – From Wheel to AI," she passionately expressed concerns about excessive reliance on technology, particularly AI-powered apps, which she believed could undermine human problem-solving skills. |

On 10 May 2023 students of our school participated in 'Confluence 2023' organized by KR Mangalam Word school, Vikaspuri.
Aditya Narayan Sharma 8-A and Sia Sehgal l8-A participated won the third prizein the event ‘Rap EnMathematicas’ wherein the students created a math rap based on mathematical concepts. They creatively explained math concepts through their rap, music and models.

The students of Classes 6th and 7th went on an Educational Adventure Camp to Bhimtal from 16 to 19 May. The camp lived upto its theme-An Amalgamation of Adventure through activities like Ziplining, Night Camping, Burma Bridge, Rapling, etc. |
To bring out the singing talent of the students, an Inter Class Solo Singing Competition was organized for the students of Class 5 on 11 May. The participants sang a variety of songs and won appreciation and prizes for their performance.

Kriday Sharma of Class IX-D and Tanishka Manoj of Class VIII-G, attended the NSUT, MUN'23 held on 8th and 9th April at Netaji Subhash University of Technology, Dwarka.
They represented the delegation of Senegal in the committee UNHRC (United Nations Human Rights Council) as a double delegation. The agenda was 'Assessing Human Rights Violation Against Uyghurs and Kazakhs'. Our young delegates debated with around 120 delegates and after two fruitful days of debating they bagged the 'Special Mention' trophy along with Rs.8000/- as cash prize. |

With great joy and enthusiasm St. Mark’s School, Meera Bagh organized its first chapter of Commerce Fest ‘The Biz Wiz Conclave’ - An Inter School Commerce and Economics Festival. The fest started off with an auspicious lamp lighting ceremony by our Principal Ms. Anjali Aggarwal and Vice Principal Ms. Ritika Anand along with the guests of honour Ms. Radha Raman PGT (Commerce) Hansraj Model School and Ms. Vibha Dureja PGT (Economics) Indraprastha World School. The event in charges - Ms. Manasi Verma Manchanda PGT (Commerce) and Ms. Arleen Kaur Sawhney PGT (Commerce) also joined the ceremony.

National Analytical Brains Competition 2022 was conducted for Classes 1 to 9 on 1st and 2nd October 2022. It was based on Math, Reasoning and Real-life problem-solving skills. 33 students participated in the competition. Angel Arora of Class 7-G bagged the Champion trophy, 6 students got Runner-up Champion Trophy and 11 students received Consolation Medals. Our school bagged the Outstanding Performance Trophy.

The exhibition aimed at popularizing science and technology among students. STEM bus included models based on Neuro Science, Human circulatory system, Odontology, Endocrinology, Application of Wireless Transmission, Application of Trigonometry in our daily life. |

Our school in association with Scoolstars started a project for the students of our school. Project Scoolstars opens up new opportunities for school students to showcase their special talents to the world from the comforts of their homes. Students are motivated to upload the videos and photos of any co-curricular activities they are good at. There were around 70 different categories like dance, music, art, craft, dramatics etc. to recognize, nurture, develop and showcase their talents beyond academics. 65 students of our school were felicitated on
5 February 2020 in a ceremony. Our principal Ms. A. Aggarwal congratulated the students and motivated them to participate more in such activities. |

Budding talents of our school were fortunate to participate in the 9th Swami Vivekananda Chitrakala and Gita Shlokas Recitation Competition hosted by St. Vivekananda Sr. Sec. School, Ladpur Branch, Delhi. Held on 4 February, 2020, two students – Revti Arora (VIII-F) and Ishita Sriram (IX-C) not only participated but won laurels for our school. While Revti won Consolation prize, Ishita secured the First prize among many competitors. Indeed, there was no better way young children could come closer to the shlokas of our ancient Bhagavad Gita! |

A workshop was conducted by team of Sony BBC Earth for the students of Classes IV and V of our school. The students were divided into four groups as bees, rain, wind and bird. The students were asked to pronounce the longest word of the dictionary which was displayed on the projector screen followed by showing them informative videos and a general knowledge quiz. Students were also demonstrated how a balloon bursts with the help of an orange peel. They were shown a video regarding diy bird feeder with the help of a plastic bottle. The winners of the quiz were given goodies by the end of the workshop. |

National Level Hindi Olympiad was held in the month of August 2019 in our institution. The results of the Olympiad were declared. A prize distribution ceremony was held for all the winners at NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi on 10 January, 2020. One of the brilliant students - Chaitanya Sareen (IV-C) of our school won the First Prize. He received a cash amount of Rs. 2500/- a Gold trophy and a certificate of appreciation by the well known Hindi poets. |

526 students from Classes I to IX appeared in Orange Olympiad. 307 students qualified for National level exam. 103 students of our school received medals and rank certificates.
Angel Arora (IV-C) won the scholarship of Rs. 1000/- for scoring 99.77 percentile in Astronomy subject. She is the school topper of Orange Global Olympiad as she scored full marks in the subject. She got first rank in the school as well as amongst other participating schools. She has qualified for OGO's National Level Examination for the same subject. |

Nayva Agrawal (VI-A), and Manasvi Kansotiya (VI-D), 1st rank holders bagged a trophy, gold medal, a cheque of Rs. 1000/- along with a special achievement certificate. Mansha Marwah (VI-D), is 2nd rank holder and received a silver medal along with a special achievement certificate. Pradyuman Sapra (6-A), secured the 3rd rank and received a bronze medal as well as a special achievement certificate. Four students of our school attended the Delhi Peace Summit held on 27 and 28 December, 2019 at the India International Centre, Max Mueller Marg and debated upon topics like discussing the rights of refugees with special emphasis on principal of Non-refoulement and the implementation of Uniform Civil Code in India. Vansham Mudgil (XI-D) represented Turkey and won the High Commendation in UNHRC.

4 students of our school, Garvit Verma (XI-F) and Ikshvaku Rastogi (XI-H), Pulak Mohanty (XI-C) and Prashant Choudhary (XI-G) participated in the Hindi and English Ramjas Debate 2019 respectively. The prelim round was held at Ramjas School, Pusa Road on 18 October. More than 60 schools participated in the event. Garvit Verma (XI-F) was adjudged Best Interjector for the prelim round and was invited to interject at the final round which was held at NDMC Convention Hall, Sansad Marg on 19 November, where he was awarded a trophy along with a cash prize of Rs. 500/-. Mr. Sumit Awasthi, a renowned journalist, was present as the chief guest in the final round who guided the children with his expert tips. Overall, the students witnessed a plethora of talent and the event proved to be a great stage for them to hone their skills. |
