“Wake up,get dressed, do something that will make you feel good.”
This was the thought behind the Fancy Dress Event held for Class 1. The event proved to be a great learning experience for the little ones and gave them a platform to speak confidently in front of a huge audience. It encouraged the tiny tots to “think out of the box“, practice different emotions and use their language skills to communicate. |

Scholastic and co scholastic activities have an equal importance in school programme for the all round development of the child. Keeping this in view, we at St. Marks Girls Sr. Sec. School conducted the Fancy Dress Competition for the children of Classes Sapling. The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to get on the stage and speak in front of an audience.
Children dressed up in their colourful costumes and spoke a few sentences on the character that they depicted. The effort and hard work of children was highly commendable.
Students displayed their talents on the theme ‘Community Helpers’. They dressed up as Engineer, Captain, Policeman, Teacher, Waiter, Maid, Painter etc and emphasized upon their need and importance in making our lives easier.
Three winners from each class were selected and got I, II and III Prize respectively.
The competition proved to be great learning experience for the students and gave them a platform to explore their hidden talents. |
