Shakespeare Day Celebration
To mark the birth anniversary of the Bard that falls on 23 April, our students of Classes X and XII saw the animated version of The Tempest and Macbeth respectively. They also made colourful and creative mind maps with pictures, caricatures and sketches of the plays they had seen.
Deworming Campaign
The National Deworming Campaign (1st to 9th April 2022) saw wholehearted participation from SMWS wherein a single age appropriate dose of Albendazole was administered to all children and adolescents in the age group of 3-19 years whose parents gave their consent for the same.
Interaction with the French delegates
An interactive Zoom session was organised on 5 April 2022 with the students and teacher Ms. Muriel of Notre Dame de la Providence, Vincennes, Paris as a part of their International Week celebration. It was attended by our students of Classes XI and XII along with their teachers, Ms. Anjali Handa and Ms. Disha Vij.
National Zoo Lovers Day Celebration - April 8, 2022
In an attempt to sensitize students about the endangered animal species, 'Aashrey' - the Animal Welfare Club of our school, organized various activities for Classes VI-VIII wherein students showcased their love for these animals in the form of colourful badges, book marks and hand puppets depicting their favourite zoo animals.
Workshop on World Autism Awareness 2 April 2022
Our school counsellors - Ms. Neha Dutta and Ms. Richa Arora conducted a session for students from Classes VI - IX wherein students were shown educative videos about Autism followed by a short discussion. Students actively participated in the event by making awareness badges and posters.
Pariksha Pe Charcha
Our students of Classes X and XII virtually attended the Pariksha Pe Charcha session this year on 1 April 2022 wherein the honourable PM advised the students to view the upcoming examination session as a festival of learning to be celebrated in a stress-free manner.
