| Cyber Awareness refers to the level of awareness and understanding that the users have about cyber security and the cyber threats that their networks or organizations face everyday. As the volume of cyber threats has become more rampant and new threats come into focus, SCERT organised a Cyber Awareness Campaign Titled "Stay Safe Online”. It aimed at raising awareness among the various user groups on the safe use of social media platforms, informed usage of digital payment and internet across India. As part of the campaign, a virtual quiz on ‘Cyber Hygiene Practices’ was conducted for the students of Classes 6 to 9 to promote staying safe online and best practices on cyber hygiene. It also made the students familiar with different kinds of cyber frauds and made them understand how not to fall prey to online fraudsters and cyber criminals. |

The quiz was conducted via educomp and all the students participated with alacrity. The quiz for Class V and VI was based on inventions, books and authors, UNESCO world heritage sites (India) and current affairs. The students of Class VII and VIII were tested on the topics namely, women reformers (india), wildlife projects (world), inside our earth and current affairs.
