“Sharing is caring - Teaching our children to share is teaching them compassion and love.”
Food donation fosters a sense of community and counters hunger at the same time, providing essential nutrients that may be missing from the diets of those in need.
The students of Class X prepared a mid-day meal in the home science lab of the school and distributed among the slum children at Bengali Camp, Meera Bagh; ensuring to create a world where everyone has access to the basic necessity of food. “Let your old dying clothes live: donate, don’t dump. Be a cause of someone’s happiness.”
The students of our school gave a gift of kindness on 25 January 2024 by donating warm jackets at Bengali Camp, Meera Bagh to help the underprivileged on the occasion of Republic Day. The community service of the school spread warmth this winter by organizing this clothing drive wherein all the students contributed by bringing jackets in a wearable condition. The few students of Class IX under the supervision of teachers distributed the jackets to the needy.
The students learnt not to hoard clothes that either don’t fit them anymore or they have just stopped wearing. When they are in a good condition, they can help many who do not have access to enough clothes. The students rejoiced by helping the deprived fight cruel chilly weather and stay snuggly covered. |

It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving. If we nurture the dreams of children, the world will be blessed for they hold the future in their hands. Our school teachers feel it to be their social responsibility to work for those who need their help in their own unique way.
Under the project 'Udaan' we celebrated the festival of lights with the underprivileged kids. They received Diwali gifts which were packed by the students of our school.
They decorated the earthen lamps also to mark the occasion. All of them had some memorable moments that they would cherish for the days to come. |
