Our in-difference and careless attitude has brought us to the brink of environmental catastrophe. To instil asense of responsibility in the younger generation, St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School partnered with HT Pace to organize a painting competition on April 25th, 2024. With the theme : ‘Planet vs. Plastic’ students from grades 7th, 8th, and 10th unleashed their creativity, crafting compelling artworks that vividly portrayed the encroaching menace of plastic pollution on our planet and served as powerful reminders of the urgent need for action to protect and preserve our cherished Mother Earth.
Besides instilling environmental awareness, the event also proved to be a platform for nurturing artistic talent.

ACTOMANIA, the English Play Competition for Class 3 was held on 31 January 2024. Young theatre enthusiasts performed with confidence and passion. Plays like The Rice Cakes, Frozen, Dr. Dolittle, The Wizard of Oz etc. were brilliantly staged. |

Students of Class I adopted a favourite literary character from fairy tales, attired in their roles and presented their passionate enactments.

Character Dramatization by students of Class 2, a delightful showcase of creativity and enthusiasm, showcased various real-life and fictional characters through costumes and enactment. Students displayed a wide array of characters ranging from historical figures to other important personalities like Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Verica Sald, Hitler, Milkha Singh, to name a few. |

The SMS Intra MUN 2023, held on December 28, saw active participation of 80 students across two committees: United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW) and United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). The conference was declared open by our Vice Principal, Ms. Ritika Anand, while Ms. Pooja Bahl, our Headmistress, encouraged participants to actively engage in debates and discussions. |

Students from Class 4 exploited their potential and learned a lot about literature and theatre as they participated in the Inter Class English Play Competition. Many popular plays like The Blue Umbrella, Anne of Green Gables and The Sound of Music to name a few, were presented by the students. |

The students of Class KG participated in the Character Dramatization Competition held on 8th December, 2023. They enacted their favourite characters from story books and fairy tales like Cinderella, Goldilocks, Rumpeltstiltskin, Queen of Hearts, The Shoemaker Peter Pan to name a few. |

The Inter-Class English Play Competition was a remarkable display of talent and enthusiasm by Class 5 students.
Students showcased their theatrical skills as they presented some famous plays like the play "Forty Fortunes", 'Canterville Ghost', ‘Mind Your Language’, 'Little Women' and ‘Matilda’ to name a few. The competition provided a perfect platform to students helping them discover their personal aptitude. |

Students of Class 1 participated in the Hindi Recitation Competition where they expressed themselves creatively and displayed their recitation skills. The competition aimed to foster a love for poetry, enhance confidence and provide a platform for our budding poets to showcase their talents. The competition featured 21 young poets who had prepared and recited poems with great zeal and dedication.

Students of Classes VI and VII enthusiastically participated in the Annual English Play Competition which included popular and illustrious plays like Jane Austen’s ‘Pride and Prejudice’, Oscar Wilde’s The Canterville Ghost, William Shakespeare’s ‘Twelfth Night’ to name a few.
The acting skills of the students generated a thunderous applause from the audience.

During the Poetry Recitation Competition, students of Class IV recited poems like Travel for Fun, The Jumblies, A little Boy's Dream, The Brook, and brought the words alive through their art of expression.

The Inter-Class English Recitation Competition for Class 5 the theme "Friendship", was held on 24 August 2023. Poems depicting different aspects and perspectives of friendship were presented. The students showcased their oratory skills with a great sense of confidence as they recited their poems. |

St. Mark’s Meera Bagh orchestrated a magnificent event ‘Umang’ on 21 August 2023, that showcased the singing skills of the students of Class 1. The event aimed to celebrate the diverse and vibrant spirit ofthe country through a group singing activity held in the school. The young singers performed a medley of patriotic songs.
With each note they sang, they not only showcased their musical talents but also the love they hold for their country. |
